+## Getting Started
+
+1. Start the container: `docker compose up -d`

+    CHATWOOT_SECRET_KEY_BASE – generate with `openssl rand -hex 64`
+    CHATWOOT_FRONTEND_URL – public URL of the instance

+    /app/storage – uploaded attachments (shared by rails and sidekiq)
+    /var/lib/postgresql/data – PostgreSQL data (pgvector image required)

+Before first run, prepare the database once:
+`docker compose run --rm chatwoot bundle exec rails db:chatwoot_prepare`
+Chatwoot requires the pgvector Postgres extension, hence the pgvector image.
